Badge-lor beats The Block

A tug of war has been underway on Wednesday nights between Nine & TEN reality shows.

Two weeks ago The Bachelor beat The Block, then Nine pipped it last week.

Last night TEN fought back with another win at 871,000 to 846,000. TEN also topped the demos. Anh’s Brush with Fame followed then Motorbike Cops7:30, Highway Patrol and Great British Railway Journeys.

The Weekly hit the front once reality shows wrapped at 575,000 as Bite Club lifted to 490,000 for Nine from 443,000 a week ago. You Can’t Ask That, 9-1-1 and a Pretty Woman replay on TEN followed (which was winning from around 9:40pm). SBS struggled with its line-up, falling under 100,000 for local series The Employables.

Seven News, ACA The Chase won their slots again

Nine network won Wednesday with 27.8% then Seven 26.6%, TEN 21.6%, ABC 17.5% and SBS 6.5%.

Nine News as best for Nine at 921,000 / 918,000 viewers then The Block (846,000), A Current Affair (780,000), Bite Club (490,000) and Hot Seat (486,000 / 279,000). Truth & Lies was 152,000.

Seven News was #1 with 1.02m / 987,000 for Seven then Home and Away (602,000), The Chase (593,000 / 369,000), Motorbike Cops (539,000), Highway Patrol (511,000), 9-1-1 (415,000) and Criminal Minds (304,000).

The Bachelor won for TEN at 871,000 then The Project (549,000 / 304,000), movie: Pretty Woman (366,000), TEN Eyewitness News (358,000), and Pointless (241,000).

ABC News (704,000), Anh’s Brush with Fame (579,000), The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (575,000), You Can’t Ask That (477,000), Adam Hills: The Last Leg (226,000), and Think Tank (196,000) comprised ABC’s night. A Tonightly replay was 100,000.

On SBS it was Great British Railway Journeys (252,000 / 227,000), SBS World News (140,000), The Employables (89,000), Deep State (83,000) and The Chef’s Line (67,000).

9GO’s Big Bang Theory led multichannels with 191,000.
